DE Underwriter

Description: The DE Underwriter will be responsible to review residential loan requests, including FHA, to
determine borrower’s willingness and ability to repay mortgage debt based on applicable Investor guidelines,
FHA guidelines, and Federal and State laws and regulations that may be applicable. The Underwriter will
approve residential first mortgage loans within lending limits and recommends loans for approval or denial
outside lending authority.

Job Requirements:

Strong and accurate computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Encompass
Excellent attention to details and strong figure aptitude;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
Solid understanding of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, and VA rules and guidelines/ 203k
Creative problem-solver with an understanding of compliance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities.

Job Duties:

Underwrites mortgage loans, including FHA, to determine accuracy of the supporting documents in the file along
with compliance to all applicable guidelines. Evaluate and analyze complex income tax returns to establish
qualifying income. Checks accuracy of all calculations related to the loan file. Review credit reports and
establishes creditworthiness. Reviews appraisal report for accuracy and compliance.
Approves loan within limit of authority. Underwrites loans exceeding lending authority and recommends for
approval or denial. Troubleshoots any problems that may occur.
Reviews Loan Estimates for accuracy and compliance with Federal any State law or regulation that may be
applicable and approves for delivery.

Responsibilities to assist Digital Marketing Manager:

Digital Production (60%)

· Digital Campaigns– Help plan and implement digital campaigns across all digital channels. Create and
maintain online listings across all relevant digital platforms

· Email – Setup and send emails, as well as assist with subscriber data management, list segmentation,
subscriber acquisition and retention, automation, testing and optimization, etc.

· Web – Setup and edit blog posts, resource pages and campaign landing pages, as well as assist with SEO,
testing and optimization, web forms, etc.

· Facebook Ads & Google Ads – Setup ad campaigns and custom audiences, as well as assist with planning,
monitoring engagements/conversions, tracking campaign optimizations, etc.

· Social Media – Set up social media posts, as well as assist with social media planning, audience growth
and engagement strategies, etc.

· Website – Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization

· Assist in managing end-to-end digital projects

· Maintain digital dashboard of several different accounts

· Coordinate with sales team to create marketing campaigns

· Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success

Digital Analytics & Reporting (20%)

· Help measure and report performance of digital campaigns and initiatives, assessing against pre-determined

· Collect and organize key metrics for all digital channels – help identify trends and insights and provide
recommendations for future testing and optimization based on the insights.

· Help create reports and dashboards for digital campaigns, digital channel analysis, OKRs, etc.

Additional Responsibilities (20%)

· Collaborate with other Marketing team members.

· Assist with various department projects and tasks as needed.

· Assist with Digital Marketing inbound customer service, including inbound email messages, web form
submissions, blog post comments, social media post/ad comments, social media direct messages, and live chat.

· Continue learning and growing professionally to achieve or exceed team objectives, including staying
up-to-date with digital technology developments, trends in digital marketing, and industry best practices.

· Able to use GIMP And/or Photoshop, experience preferred but not essential


Loan Officer Assistant

We are looking for a responsible individual to assist our top producing loan officer. This person will act as
the first point-of-contact for most commercial and residential clients. The Loan Officer Assistant will assist
in managing personal pipeline and prospective borrowers. This will include working directly with clients,
gathering required documentation as required by law, and preparing loan files for processing.


Associates Degree

Mortgage Loan Processor

Mortgage Loan Processor

Omega is looking for an experienced and dependable Mortgage Loan Processor to join its team. Our residential
division specializes in 203k construction loan programs with H.U.D., conventional loans, FHA loans, as well as
VA loans. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years mortgage processing experience. This position is
ideal for strong processors looking to be groomed towards a DE Underwriting position.


3-years experience minimum of mortgage loan processing
2-year Associates Degree
2-years experience with Encompass

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines with strong attention to detail
Ability to process residential mortgage loans (FHA, Conventional, VA, USDA – purchase and refinance
transaction(s) in a manner consistent with all company policies and procedures as well as all regulatory
Ability to calculate debt-to-income

Manage pipeline of loans and maintains timely and compliant flow of such loans through the process.
Communicates with loan officers, buyers, title companies, and builders. Provides excellent customer service by
effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers.
Sets up loan files, manually (if necessary) and order all exhibits as soon as the file is received.
Obtain and review required loan documentation and submits complete loan packages to Underwriting for
Order credit reports, verifications of employment, payoffs etc., and appraisals from the appropriate parties
and review them for acceptability prior to submitting for approval.
Prepare Loan Estimate along with initial disclosure forms and send out to applicant(s) with a copy of welcome
letter to loan officer, within three days of application date.
Process loans through desktop underwriting for submission.
Act as a liaison and maintain communication between customers and all parties involved in the transaction
Obtains and verifies that all underwriting conditions are received and cleared by the underwriter and prepares
the file for submission to the Closing Department
Work up cases for submission when all required exhibits are received.
Prepare weekly status reports to supervisor, loan officer and head of sales.
Once file is cleared for closing, submit file to QC for review and release to the closing department.
Keeps abreast of changes in policies and procedures, standards and regulations applicable to the company and
the mortgage industry. Understands and applies local, state, and federal regulations related to processing
mortgage loans.


What Types of Documentation is Required?

In order to begin processing your loan we would require your last two years' Federal Income Tax with corresponding W-2 Form, your last two months of bank statments, a valid driver's license and your pay stubs from the last 30 days.
